Loss of Reason

So today, to celebrate T-Rav's birthday, we went skydiving. It was incredible! I was scared, but it was worth it. It was an incredible rush, even beyond the 'WHAT THE FREAK AM I DOING!" phase I experienced at the door. Eventually I should be getting a video here in the next week or so, but until then, here's a sweet picture of me right after landing.

oh, and i didn't tell my parents until after i had jumped. turns out they weren't upset at all!

i felt the "what the heck am i doing" as we were driving along I-15. i kept thinking "there are hundreds of more sensible things i could do with 200$...like...fly to NY (without jumping out)...buy a lot of books...make a lot of gourmet food...buy a SWEET halloween costume of a Dementor...etc." but it turns out that skydiving really was the best option. and even better, i learned something very enlightening: you know the dreams wherein you're falling through the sky towards an abiss-well that's how it feels in real life. it really does. and now i know.

I'm glad you didn't get dead! My friend Lisa went skydiving a couple years ago without telling her parents. She had no intention of ever telling them.. She HAD to when she broke her leg and foot in several places, ect. Oooops.

RyRy,
Way to go man! You've got to be the craziest friend I've got. I will continue to live these crazy experiences through you.
